Elaine Pilgrim-Susi has been coaching elementary school level volleyball for over 20 years with both girls and boys teams. She is a Level 1 NCCP certified coach. Elaine has been involved in athletics her entire life and still continues to play competitive co-ed volleyball and baseball.
Elaine was the previous President and Past President of the MAC Boys Rep Volleyball club and has been involved with Rep volleyball for over 8 years. She is passionate about the sport and believes in developing the player both on and off the court. As an Elementary School Principal and educator for over 25 years, she has a strong knowledge and understanding of working with adolescents, nutrition and sports. She is currently also a Rep Soccer Coach with the Ancaster Soccer Club. Elaine is excited to be a part of the MVC team!
Head Coach: Elaine Pilgrim Susi
Mike has been playing competitive volleyball since age 9. He played as a right side and libero for MAC and was a Division 1, tier 1, U14 National Champion at the East Open Championships and again at U18 Division 2, tier 1 in Calgary at the West Open Championships. He also had the privilege to represent Canada and the City of Hamilton playing volleyball at the International Children's Games in Bahrain when he was 15 . He played on the Bishop Tonnos and Ancaster High Volleyball teams winning the City Championships, and SOSA in Grade 11 with Ancaster High. Michael has been recognized with Most Sportsmanlike trophy, MAC Dedication Award and Best Defensive player during the 5 years he competed for the MAC club. Michael is excited to be able to share his knowledge and love for the game with the MVC Maroon team as an assistant coach!
